Tony Collins has been actively involved in the world of purebred dogs and Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs for over 12 years. Throughout that time, he has built extensive hands-on experience both at home and on the road, becoming a trusted and dependable part of the show dog community and an integral member of the Ellenni Danes team.
In addition to his involvement in conformation, Tony has been successful in performance events and has owned and worked with top weight-pulling Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. His experience in both the performance and show worlds has given him a strong appreciation for proper conditioning, sound structure, working ability, and the versatility of the breed.
Known for his calm demeanor, strong work ethic, and dedication to the dogs, Tony assists with all aspects of daily kennel care, conditioning, grooming preparation, transportation, and show-day management. His experience with giant and working breeds has given him a solid understanding of proper movement, conditioning, and the individualized care required to keep dogs healthy, comfortable, and performing at their best.
Through years of involvement with Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and other working breeds, Tony has developed a deep appreciation for preservation breeding, responsible ownership, and the teamwork required to successfully campaign and care for dogs at every level. Whether helping ringside, traveling across the country to shows, or caring for dogs behind the scenes, he is known for being reliable, hardworking, and deeply committed to the well-being of every dog in his care.
As part of the Ellenni Danes team, Tony continues to play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations while helping maintain the high level of care and presentation clients and dogs receive both at home and on the road.
